Le Creuset casserole

This is perhaps my favourite piece: okay so it was expensive and it’s heavy but it is so versatile and the fact that it works so well on the stove top and in the oven means that you can brown your meats and then transfer to the oven to finish cooking.

Made from cast iron and finished with enamel this is a quality piece of cookware that I will have for a lifetime. We also have a deep casserole from a different manufacturer but I dont use it half as much as this baby.
